Train Chartering is the first to offer WiFi on private charter trains in the UK. The company organises charter trains for hire throughout the rail network for corporate clients, associations, travel companies and individuals.

The trains used by Train Chartering are carefully chosen to provide a quality travel experience for groups of any size. They can be solely First Class or Standard Class, or have a mix of carriages, which are all air-conditioned intercity stock. Providing WiFi on demand adds a level of technology not before seen on charter trains which will be of great interest to many business and private clients.

The integrated GSM/Wireless access point, installed in one or more carriages, provides a wireless link to GSM networks for WiFi within the chosen carriage, along with a router board integrated unit to manage bandwidth and routing. Train Chartering required a dual SIM system for maximum coverage, which automatically seeks the optimum signal strength. All equipment naturally meets the stringent specifications for rail usage.
